KPEG is seeking 04 Piping Design Engineers for our head office in Hanoi.

I. Job Description

- Participate in engineering design and 3D modeling projects for piping systems in chemical plants, oil refineries and petrochemical facilities, gas processing plants, water and wastewater treatment plants, and other industrial facilities.

- Perform piping routing, equipment layout, pipe support design, and other related design activities using specialized engineering software such as S3D, AVEVA E3D, PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Revit.

- Prepare piping drawings and technical deliverables, including:

+ Equipment Layout / Plot Plan

+ Piping Layout

+ Piping Isometric Drawings

+ Pipe Support Drawings

+ Other related engineering drawings and technical documents.

- Perform Material Take-Offs (MTO) / Bill of Materials (BOM) and prepare technical data to support procurement, fabrication, and construction activities.

- Review, interpret, and apply project input documents such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Plot Plans, Equipment Drawings, Piping Material Specifications (PMS), Line Lists, and applicable engineering codes and standards.

- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, including Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Control (I&C), throughout the design development process.

- Participate in the review of engineering drawings and 3D models; identify and resolve issues related to layout, constructability, operability, maintainability, and multidisciplinary clashes.

- Perform other engineering duties as required by project needs and assigned by management.

II. Candidate Requirement

1. Educational Background

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Chemical Equipment and Machinery, Food Processing Machinery and Equipment, Chemical Engineering, Oil Refining, Oil Refining - Petrochemical or other related engineering disciplines.

- Strong technical foundation and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

- Good logical thinking and analytical skills, with fundamental knowledge of engineering subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Engineering Drawing, or Machine Design.

2. Experience

For Experienced Candidates

- Previous experience in industrial piping design, plant design, or other related engineering fields.

- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in chemical plants, oil refineries and petrochemical facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, or similar industrial projects.

- Experience working with international engineering codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, DIN, JIS, KS, or equivalent standards is preferred.

For Fresh Graduates

- No prior work experience is required.

- Suitable candidates will receive training in:

+ Industrial piping design;

+ Project execution workflows and procedures;

+ Interpretation of engineering drawings and technical documents;

+ Specialized 2D/3D engineering design software;

+ Coordination skills in multidisciplinary engineering project environments.

3. Software Skills

- For Experienced Candidates: Preference will be given to candidates who are proficient in one or more of the following engineering softwares: S3D, E3D, PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit

- For Fresh Graduates: Prior experience with specialized plant design software is not mandatory. Selected candidates will receive appropriate training based on job and project requirements.

4. English Proficiency and Personal Skills

- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English in a professional working environment; candidates with an English proficiency level equivalent to TOEIC 500 or above are preferred.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Strong willingness to learn, with a responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work.

- Ability to adapt to a project-based engineering environment and meet project schedules and deadlines.

- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required by project assignments.
